Sharon McCormick
BOARD MEMBER
M.Ed in education and 30 years experience as a Special Education teacher. I have been coming to Flagstaff since the mid 1980s and fell in love with it. Both of my children went to NAU, and my son stayed here. When I retired, I moved to Flagstaff. Currently I enjoy hiking, horseback riding, and spending as much time as I can with my grandchildren. It is also important to me to give to the community in any way that I can.
I feel very strongly that public education is vital and needs to be supported; especially for special needs children. Teachers work extraordinarily hard and need as much help that can be given.

Cecily Maniaci
BOARD MEMBER
I have lived in Arizona most of my life. I grew up between Scottsdale and the Grand Canyon. My Mother opened a gift store in the town of Tusayan in 1970 where all the family worked. I am a graduate of Arizona State with a bachelors in English Literature and a Masters in secondary education. I have been in and around flagstaff since I was five years old and 13 years ago I decided to move here and start the Toasted Owl. I am so happy to live here between the desert and mountains. I have a great amount of space to choose to be in the woods hiking or in the desert swimming! I have two children Alex and Sophie who both live in the valley. I have two goldendoodles that are truly my best friends. My pastimes are walking/hiking, reading, cooking, travel and shopping for vintage. You can find me most days at one of the Toasted Owls working and running around it truly is my passion!
