Supporting Teachers,
Fueling Innovation
At the Flagstaff Unified School District Foundation, we believe that when teachers have what they need, students thrive. That’s why we’ve created a hub of support and funding opportunities just for FUSD educators. From free classroom supplies to grants that bring bold ideas to life, this page is your one-stop resource center. Explore each section below to learn more about how we’re helping teachers succeed—both inside and outside the classroom.
The Teachers Closet
The Teacher’s Closet is located at Summit High School, at the Family Resource Center.
Hours are 9:00am to 4:00pm, Monday thru Friday.
The Teacher’s Closet is open to all FUSD Teachers. We ask that teachers only take what they need, and to please scan to check out. If you need to request supplies, please email [email protected].

Debbi Grogan Memorial Fund
The Flagstaff Blues and Brews Festival initially launched this funding program for FUSD music teachers, and it has grown significantly since its inception. Now in its fourth year, the program is sustained through proceeds from the Flagstaff Oktoberfest.
In 2022, the program raised nearly $22,000 and distributed 100% of the funds to FUSD music teachers. The following year, in 2023, the program reached a new milestone, raising almost $34,000—all of which went directly to support our music educators. The 2024 Flagstaff Oktoberfest generated over $32,000, continuing this impactful tradition of supporting music teachers and their programs, and again we used all of the money for our FUSD Music Teachers. The 2025 Flagstaff Oktoberfest generated over $31,000 for this fund.
You can support this fund by attending the Annual Flagstaff Oktoberfest, held the first Saturday of October each year in Wheeler Park.
The Debbi Grogan Memorial Fund Grant program will open in October 2026.
