Micro-Grants

The FUSD Foundation is excited to announce that we have a new way of providing funding to FUSD teachers for special projects and programs. This year we’re launching a new micro grant program which provides up to $500 for 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚, 𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙢𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨.

Micro grants provided by the FUSD Foundation promote increased student outcomes by 𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙪𝙥 𝙩𝙤 $500 to FUSD teachers for special and innovative projects that are not provided for in school budgets.  

Once the complete application is submitted, 𝙁𝙐𝙎𝘿𝙁 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙚𝙬 (on a monthly basis through the application period) 𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚, 𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙢𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨. These are projects that include original, bold, and innovative ideas, enrich the standard curriculum, and explore new alternatives to traditional methods of learning.

Awards will be reviewed on the 4th Tuesday of each month during the open grant period. 

If you’re awarded a grant, you are required to complete and submit a final report . 

When you accept the grant money you also agree to the possibility of being interviewed, photographed or having video taken of your project or your program.
